Which style of yoga is best for absolute beginners?

Most styles of yoga offer classes for all levels of ability (beginner, beginner-general, general, intermediate and advanced are the main categories) and at Breathing Space all our teachers have trained extensively for many years. They are adept at supporting absolute beginners to the most experienced yogis, with many local teachers often coming to their classes to absorb fresh knowledge and perspectives. As an “absolute beginner” you will serve yourself best by starting your yoga ‘career’ slowly in a relatively easy class and then progress safely when you have laid the foundations of your practice and have become more confident and aware.  Remember, you can still be an experienced yogi and retain “beginners mind”, cultivating humility and equanimity, regardless of what ‘level’ you are at… your yoga journey is for life after all and it is the journey that reveals the true rewards, not the destination…
